Lot 4 - Champagne & Canapes on the Thames on a beautiful little Dunkirk ship

An evening's summer cruise on the Thames for a maximum of 10 people, with champagne and canapés aboard the beautiful Warakei. This little Dunkirk ship rescued 150 soldiers from the beaches at Dunkirk. She was built in the 1930s, participated in the Jubilee Pageant in 2012 and is in tip top condition! There will be a crew of two plus your hostess, Samantha Corsellis. The prize can be taken on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening up until late September/mid October and lasts for 2 hours.

A luxury large coastal pavilion-style beach house in an enviable cliff top position in North Cornwall with plenty of room for several generations to unwind and enjoy coastal living in true Cornish style. An original framed picture by Emma Levine. Mixed composition: silk, paper & pins. 58cm x 58cm.

Emma delicately cuts images, especially trees, from a medium like felt or paper and pins them minutely to their chosen background, raised ethereally from the surface, forming beautiful shadows and layers. Her work is very serene and calm.

Lot 9 - “Roar and Snore” sleepover at the Cotswold Wildlife Park

This is your chance – not available to the general public – for two families (or up to 12 people) to camp out in the Park and experience the animals after dark!

The Park covers over 100 acres of beautiful parkland and gardens around a listed Victorian Manor House just outside Burford, Oxfordshire and is one of the UK’s largest zoological collections, with highly acclaimed gardens and exotic planting. Spend the afternoon exploring the Park then set up camp near the lions and enjoy a barbecue overlooking the giraffe enclosure. You will be looked after by one of the Park’s Animal Keepers.

Bring your own tents to camp out near the rhinos, giraffe, lions and leopards, and be woken up by the rumbles, squeaks, growls and roars of the animals in the morning. Barbecue and wines provided, and breakfast the following morning. Bring your own tents/sleeping bags/torch etc. (toilet facilities available near camping area).

Lot 16 - Original sculpture by Kate Linforth

Kate Linforth, a recent graduate of the University of Kent is making her mark as an encaustic artist and sculptor. She is inspired by science, nature and spirituality and the materials that she uses are subjected to heat, gravity and chance and have a slightly unpredictable quality to them. Her work is being sold through galleries in Kent and London and now features in private collections in the UK and overseas. She has very generously created this beautiful piece specifically for The Grand Sleepover.

International Interior Designer, Vanessa Galloway, is a director of Konig Design and the newly launched Konig Colours – a new generation eco paint, as featured in Elle Decoration, The Sunday Times Home supplement and Living Etc.

This prize will be for a two hour consultation on paint colours and interior design including space planning, furniture and fabric advice. Lot 19 - Stay in the beautiful Balkans as typified by Patrick Leigh Fermor

A week’s stay in a charming home on the edge of a hamlet in the foothills of the Balkan mountain range. The house lies within half an hour’s wooded walk from the Troyan Monastery, an historic monastery in Bulgaria famous for its miracle-working icon and colourful mural painting.

It offers a peacefully secluded base for mountain walks as well as expeditions further afield exploring 'Bulgaria the Beautiful' and its rich cultural history. Sleeping a maximum of six guests over two floors, each fitted as a selfcontained unit with kitchen and bathroom. A limited-edition lithograph of Picasso’s Le déjeuner sur l’herbe (1960). The composition is derived from Edouard Manet’s 1863 painting of the same name, a work that shocked French society and inspired future generations of artists. It was printed at the Mourlot printing press in Paris.
